I’m a geek. I have a small little server and barely adequate writing skills. Occasionally I’ll post something about technology or intellectual property. It’ll have at least one nugget of original content and it’ll be from a Canadian perspective.
I’ll talk about my personal life as little as possible. You don’t need to worry about stumbling upon what movies I watched recently or what I ate for dinner. This won’t turn into my livejournal or myspace.
I won’t submit myself to digg, reddit or other link stumbling sites. Questions of dishonesty aside, my puny server can’t take the traffic.
I won’t pollute Google with a post containing a single link and a single sentence.
I will treat this like the watercooler and shoot the breeze about cool tech and interesting developments in law. I’ll detail cool hacks in electronics, software and policy. Above all I will feed my always-on internet addiction and share when I can.

i have win7. i downloaded epubee but it won’t run and folks at epubee don’t respond. i made sure to run as administrator but get error every time i try to run of “access violation writing 0x01deob90″. I made sure folder i am writing to is not read only..any clue. I have tried a few other drm removal trials and they work fine..except there is one which is an exact copy, screen for screen for epubee..it isfrom epubmaker..it gives me the error
