Thanks! I’ll certainly fill in the survey, and I’m also in touch with Andrew Louis. I sat in on Caitlin’s presentation as well but missed out on Jonathan Edwards’. What was there was good, but I’d prefer a higher academic to pep talk ratio.

Stallman gave the same talk at UTM in July 2007 too, that’s where I saw him first. I’m pretty sure all those “I think that…” disclaimers mean it’s something he’s researched and believes is one way to the best of his knowledge and research, i.e. admitting there could be something he’s missed.

I was very impressed with this year’s academic talks. Steve Easterbook’s and Caitlin Kelleher’s in particular.

I’m happy you enjoyed the conference.
