Geek out about copyright tonight!

Tonight is Copynight! The Toronto chapter will be meeting at Sneaky Dee’s at College & Bathurst when 7 o’clock rolls around. The fajitas there are awesome and the talk is expected to heat up as well. The usual attendence is six but tonight I expect more due to the buzz around the resussitation of the copyright reform act. Rumour has it that an industry rep will pop by meeting.

I’ve invited two artisan friends. I hope that they can come as well.

I plan on bringing up the copyright reform act, Tariff No. 22 (the SOCAN podcasting levy in particular), and the Turnitin lawsuit.
