“This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Canadian House of Commons”
I think it’s about time to say how much progress I’ve made while trying to post House of Commons video to YouTube. Well, I’ve made no progress. I did not receive the questionnaire that was supposed to be mailed to me. I didn’t call back as this week as I’ve got three deliverables due Friday and I can’t seem to get a moment to call during business hours.
I do have a moment to cram this post into. Via Michael Geist, I see that someone else’s House of Commons video has been taken down after about a year. The taken down parody video is available on MySpace. By the way, the parody video’s sound track is certainly not safe for work. Wear headphones. I wonder what would happen if the creator responded to the copyright notice and got the video put back up. I’m not going to stop my little experiment because of this, I’m still curious about how easy it is to get copyright permission.
